MarsEdit Test
I'm testing a new Mac blogging tool called MarsEdit.
Mars Edit (Red Sweater Software)

So far, I think this is a worthy blog editor. I'm debating whether it is something I would use enough to drop some coin on.
I like the preview function that lets me see how it will look without the minimal HTML code they include. Another nice feature is I have the ability to use my limited HTML skills to trick out my post a little.
I am going to continue to use this for a few weeks to really get a sense of how it performs. Check back later for my final analysis.

Learning to Use Your Mac

One of the first and best things I can suggest is to just use your Mac. You really have to try hard to screw it up. Go into the programs and see what they do. Create a file, save it, have some fun. Snoop around in Safari, Mail, iPhoto, iTunes, etc. These are great consumer friendly programs that will help you have fun in the new digital age. You'll find out how nice it is to have programs that just work.
Drop me a note and let me know what fun things you find.
Tip #1-Apps
Applications are very easy to install on a Mac. Don't over think it.
More often then not you will download a .dmg file. After downloading it, open it up and it will mount a virtual drive. Drag the file inside to your Applications folder. That's it. Practice on this: www.adiumx.com. It is a simple instant messenger program.
